He was born December 7, 1983, at St. Francis hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. He attended Greenwood high school and graduated from Lincoln Tech as a diesel mechanic. His employment included landscaping and construction. Derek enjoyed country music, all sports, and fishing.
Services for Derek are Sunday, October 17 at 3:00 PM with visitation from 1:00 PM until time of service at Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Care, 7520 Madison Ave., Indianapolis 46227.
