Diana Fay Young Kersey, age 76 of Ashland, KY, passed gently away with fond memories of her family on her mind, on October 2, 2025, at Harbor Health in Ironton, OH.
Diana was born on May 28, 1949, the blessing of the late Owen and Vivian Fletcher Young, as she was the only girl out of six children. Diana was a proud graduate of Paul Blazer High School. She spent her life devoted to giving her children a loving home. Diana raised three children and was blessed with many grandchildren. She had an artsy soul and loved to craft treasures her family will cherish. She saw beauty in old things and enjoyed hunting antiques. Her carefree spirt shown bright when you caught her dancing to her favorite song. Diana loved the melody of music and how it made her feel within.
Diana's peaceful life will be missed by all who knew and loved her, but mostly her children and grandchildren will carry her legacy for many years to come.
Diana leaves behind her three children Cammie Kersey(Travis) of Ashland, KY, Roger Lee Kersey(Shanna ) of Hazard, KY, Thomas Brent Kersey of Ashland, KY, four precious grandchildren Tyler Morrison, Makenna Kersey, Dawson Kersey, and Braely Kersey, one great-grandchild Everleigh Morrison, and one brother Dean Young of Ashland, KY. Also surviving is a host of extended family members and friends.
In addition to her late parents, Diana is enjoying a Heavenly reunion with her brothers, Harold Young, Donald Young, Robert Young, and Rick Young.
A Memorial Service to honor the life of Diana, will be held on Sunday, October 5, 2025, beginning at 3pm at Neal Funeral Home, located at 2409 Center Street. Visitation for friends and family will take place prior to the service from 2:30pm to 3pm.
