Dickie “DL” Lambert, age 58, of Amity, went to be with the Lord unexpectedly on Monday, June 12, 2023.
He was born on March 29, 1965, in Hot Springs, the son of Dickie Leo Lambert and Eva Tom Duece Lambert. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Jay Lambert and Chad Lambert, all of Texas.
DL worked as a welder, often having to work away from home. He was always a fun-loving free spirit that left lasting memories with anyone he was around. DL will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his daughters, Muriel Lambert and Jessica Johns, both of Amity, and Cheyenne Whisenhunt of Nashville; four grandchildren, Drake Lambert, Harper Johns, Sawyer Johns, and Haylynn Whisenhunt, all of Amity; two sisters, Lisa Harrison and Jennifer Grazaffi, both of Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, June 28, 2023, in the Shiloh Cemetery in Amity with Rick Collie officiating.
Pallbearers will be Drake Lambert, Scooter Wheeler, Chad Smith, Jr. Raines, Anthony Holcombe and Stevie Lambert.
Arrangements are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home, Glenwood.
