Mrs. Dolores Maria (Vieira) Cerqua of Chelmsford, died Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at Lowell General Hospital.
She was married to the late Paul J. Cerqua who died September 16, 2009.
Born in Cambridge, MA on September 11, 1940, the daughter of the late John and Georgina (Paiva) Vieira. She was a graduate of Somerville High School with the class of 1958.
She was employed in her earlier years as a bookkeeper at Boston Law Book, and more recently with the Jazzercise Day Care in Chelmsford.
She was a communicant of St. Mary Church of Chelmsford.
She was a member of the Alpine Square Dancers Club, and loved dancing with her husband.
Dolores is survived by a son and his wife, Paul J. Cerqua and Heidi Goddard both of Chelmsford, three daughters and two sons-in-law, Karen and Greg Loycano, of Chelmsford, Cheryl and Edwin Medina of North Chelmsford, Lori Martini of Bedford, MA, two brothers and their wives, Leonard and Dorothy (Davenport) Vieira of Leesburg, FL, David and Michelle (Constant) Vieira of Ocala, FL, four grandchildren, Kayla and her husband, Dakota Loycano and Kyle Loycano, Devin and Brendan Gordon.
FUNERAL NOTICE
Dolores's visiting hours will be Sun., June 15, 2025 from 1 to 4 pm. Funeral Mon., June 16, 2025 at 8am from the DOLAN FUNERAL HOME 106 MIDDLESEX ST. CHELMSFORD, with a funeral Mass at 9am at St. Mary Church, 25 North Rd., Chelmsford. Burial in Pine Ridge Cemetery, Chelmsford.
