Dominick G. D'Auria

Dominick G. D'Auria, 87 from Nanuet, NY passed away on Wednesday April 9, 2025 in Cumming, GA surrounded by his loving family.
Dominick was born in Bronx, New York on September 13,1937 to Olinda (DeRosa) and Domenico D'Auria.
He is predeceased by his loving wife of 50 years, Estelle (Bonavera) D'Auria.
He is also predeceased by his siblings Michelina D'Auria, Antoinette Carotenuto, and Michael D'Auria.
Dominick is survived by his sisters Edith Procaccino and Linda Masullo.
He is also survived by his children Dominick (Diane) D'Auria of Alpharetta, GA, Corinne (Robert) Schepis of Suffern, NY and Andrea (Lawrence) Markovitz of Kiawah Island, SC.
Dominick is additionally survived by his nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren who he absolutely adored; Jessica (Demetri) Louca, Danielle (Adam) Lewis, Leanne (Casey) Kerr, Amanda D'Auria, Alexander Markovitz, Dominick D'Auria, Gregory Markovitz, Allison Schepis, Douglas Markovitz and Ava and Madelyn Lewis.
Dominick worked in his family butcher shop, D'Auria's Pork Store with his brother Michael, in Bronx, NY for over 50 years. One of his greatest joys was sharing his Italian heritage with his family, and loved when they would come to Little Italy to visit him at work. He retired at the age of 70.
He was a lifelong, dedicated New York Jets and New York Yankees fan. He performed with the St. Anthony's Parish Players for many years and loved gardening, cooking, listening to his music, and spending time with his family.
Dominick moved to Alpharetta, GA near his son and his family in October of 2022
Visitation will take place at Joseph W. Sorce Funeral Home in Pearl River, NY on Tuesday, April 22 from 4-8 pm.
A Catholic Mass and burial will be held at St. Anthony's Shrine Church in Nanuet, NY on Wednesday, April 23 at 10am.
