Donald Strizak Obituary
Donald “Eric” Strizak, 60, of Springfield Township, passed away unexpectedly at home on May 28, 2025. He was born on October 11, 1964 in Wadsworth, OH to Donald and Penelope Strizak. He graduated from Field High School. Eric worked at Zehner’s Service Center for 18 years as an exhaust specialist.
Eric loved working in his yard and tending to his garden. He enjoyed hunting for deer in the fall. He was a fan of NASCAR racing and working on cars in his free time.
Eric was preceded in death by his father, Donald; and nephew, Bryan Strizak.
He will be deeply missed by his wife of 36 years, Cheryl Strizak; children, Amanda (Jerry) Shaulis, Eric “Scott” (Katie) Strizak, and Megan (Ben) Oxford; mother, Penelope Strizak; brother, Mark Strizak; sister, Melissa Porter; grandchildren, Kourtney, Karley, Kenzie, Konnor, Willow, and Blake; favorite dog, Marley; and many friends and extended family.
A celebration of Eric’s life will take place on Saturday June 28, 2025 from 1pm until 6pm at Memorial Park, 335 Parklane Drive SW, Hartville, OH 44632.
