Donald Bruce "Woody" Wood, 65, of Arcadia, FL, formerly of Cedarville, NJ, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on January 9, 2025.
Woody was born in Bridgeton, NJ to Wilbur and Alverna L. Wood on December 31, 1959. He attended Cumberland Regional High School and graduated in 1978. For many years, he worked on the family farm, "Laning Bros. Farms." Later, he owned and operated Clark's Liquor Store in Millville, NJ. He enjoyed working out, pickleball, fishing with his friend Pete, trap shooting, and traveling the country with his family. He won the 1977 NJ State Trap Shoot.
Woody is survived by his wife, Kimberly, and daughter, Caroline; his parents, Wilbur and Alverna L. Wood; his mother-in-law, Mary Lou Homan; his black Lab, Henry; and his many cousins, aunts, and uncles. He is preceded in death by his father-in-law, James G. Homan, and his beloved pet, Midnight.
Burial will take place privately at the convenience of the family. Written condolences can be sent to the family through the funeral home website, www.padgettfuneralhomes.com.

My condolences to the family of the loss of Woody. I was briefly in his life many years ago and he was always so kind and caring along with hard working. I had no idea he moved here to Florida.
May he rest in peace and sending my sincere condolences to the family.
