1933 - 2025
Donna (Rissler-Moser) Clevenger, age 91, of Hermann, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 2nd, at Victorian Place of Hermann in Hermann, Missouri.
Donna was born on May 11, 1933, in Bloomfield, Nebraska, to Minnie Schuett, daughter of Herman and Caroline Schuett. Raised by her grandparents, Herman and Caroline Schuett, until the age of six, Donna moved to Crofton, Nebraska, after her mother married Chet Rissler, who adopted her. She spent her childhood and teenage years in Crofton, where she also worked at Hesse's Implements during high school and again in 1953 and 1954.
Donna graduated from Chillicothe Business College in Chillicothe, Missouri, in 1952. That same year, she married Charles Moser in St.Joseph, Missouri, and together they had two children: Steven Moser and Cynthia Moser Flanders. In 1964, the family relocated to
Cameron, Missouri, where Donna worked for the International Harvester dealership for 20 years. Following the dealership's closure, she continued her career as the office manager for the franchisee of Hardee's Restaurants for an additional ten years.
Donna and Charles divorced in 1983, and in 1997, she married Bob Clevenger in Las Vegas, Nevada. They made their home in Centertown, Missouri. After Bob's passing, Donna moved to a new home in Centertown, where she took great pride in designing, remodeling, and landscaping. In 2014, she moved back to Cameron to be closer to family, and in 2023, she relocated to assisted living in Hermann, Missouri, to be near her son Steve and daughter-in-law Pam.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Chet and Minnie Rissler; her husband, Bob Clevenger; and her brothers, Robert Rissler and Randy Rissler. She held a special bond with her brothers, Robert (Marcia), Perry (Sylvia), Norman (Meredith), and Randy (Fred), and she cherished the time spent with them.
Donna is survived by her son, Steve (Pam) Moser; daughter, Cindy Flanders (Mark); five grandchildren, Ashley Leazenby (John), Audrey Kuether (Ted), Alex Moser (Brittney), Kelsey Fehring (Mike), and Kyle Pugh; ten great-grandchildren; brothers Perry Rissler (Sylvia) and Norman Rissler (Meredith).
