Donna Goossen Obituary
Donna Louise Goossen, 75, of Farmington, New Mexico, passed away on November 2, 2024. She was born on September 20, 1949, in Shickshinny, Pennsylvania to Bryce B. Swisher and Esther Louise Peterson.
Donna moved to Farmington at the age of 19. While she was working at the A&W as a carhop she met the love of her life Alfred. They married after 6 weeks and started raising their family. She was a no-nonsense woman that spoke her mind. She had great friends and loved them all dearly. She had many different jobs but being a Mom and Nana were her favorite by far. She loved her family but missed her love and will be with him for their 55th Anniversary this year. A celebration of life for Alfred and Donna will be in the Spring.
Donna is survived by her son Rex Goossen, daughter Tonya (Doug) Duke, stepchildren Cindy Gray, Jesse (Arlene) Goossen, and Jeff (Amanda) Goossen, brother Dana Swisher, grandchildren Lacey, Jeff, Shyenne, Jacob, Orin, Delton, Dakota, and 14 great-grandchildren
She is preceded in death by her loving husband Alfred Goossen, parents Bryce B. Swisher and Esther Louise Peterson, granddaughter Samantha, brother Donald Swisher, and sister Linda Swisher.
