Donna Fay (Seal) Hampton, 78, of Marmaduke passed away Thursday October 30th, 2025 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in
Jonesboro, AR. Donna was born January 5th, 1947 to the late Allison and Euvila Seal in Piggott, AR.
Donna was retired from the Marmaduke School District where she worked as a cafeteria worker 25 years. Donna was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Donna was a graduate of the Piggott High School and also attended the Greenway School District for eleven years where she was involved in many activities including cheerleading. Donna spent many years by her husband's side at the Marmaduke Ball Parks doing many things including having the best concession stand anywhere. Donna was also a baseball and softball mom to hundreds of kids in the Marmaduke Community for over 30 years making sure they were all taken good care of. During her time at the Marmaduke School Ms. Donna was affectionately known by many students as their cook teacher as she always greeted them with a smile and a kind word as they would go through the lunch line. Donna enjoyed going to the lake, cooking big meals for her family and most of all spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 54 years Charles, one brother Kenneth Kirk, seven brothers-in-law William (Dub) Hampton, Kenneth Wayne Hampton, Mickey Hampton, Bob Mansfield, Buddy Green, Ray Krohn, Bubb Russom. Two sisters-in-law Vadalia Hampton, Sandra Worley and her in laws Floyd and Rosezetta Hampton.
Donna is survived by her son Rodney Hampton (Myra) of Marmaduke, one daughter Crystal (Mike) Carter of Rector. Three granddaughters Allison (Camryn) Hyde of Marmaduke, Mallory Carter of Paragould, Reesa (Garrett) Hensley of Marmaduke. One grandson Garren Carter of Rector. Three great-grandsons Liam Pittman, Charlie Hyde and Hayes Hensley. Four brothers-in-law Roy Hampton, Rickey (Vicki) Hampton, Michael (Leisa) Hampton, Alton Worley. Six sisters-in-law Shirley Mansfield, Sharon Green, Linda Paulette Russom, Belinda Hampton, Glenda Hampton, Shelia Kirk and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at the Phillips Funeral Home Chapel Tuesday, November 4th, at 12:00 p.m. with Brother Kim Bridges and Brother Bill Muse presiding. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will be at the Harvey's Chapel Cemetery in Marmaduke, AR.
Serving as pallbearers will be Andy Seal, Jimmy Hardin, Kevin Pratt, Kenny Roberts, Brad Green and David Hampton. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Seal, Aaron Speer, Gene Bennett, Gary Priest, Dennis Farmer and Mark Clark.
