Mrs. Donna J. Peaden, 65, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2024, at her home.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, 11AM, in the Falkland Presbyterian Church. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends Friday, from 6-8 PM, at Wilkerson Funeral Home.
Mrs. Peaden was born in Virginia, but moved to Pitt County about 1975. Mrs. Peaden graduated from North Pitt High School. In 1978, she married Tommy Peaden, and they moved to Falkland where she resided until her passing. She worked for Belvoir Manufacturing for 10 years; and was also employed at Fullarton Computer Industries for 10 years. For the last 25 years, she worked for the ABC Store, mainly in Farmville and Princeville. She liked her plants, and loved going to the beach.
Mrs. Peaden was preceded in death by her mother, Lula Stocks; husband, Tommy Peaden; and a brother, Linwood Jones.
She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Mills and husband, John; sons, Tommy Joel "TJ" Peaden, II, and John Peaden and wife, Michaela; grandchildren, Piper Mills, Justin Mills, Saylor Mills, Lennon Peaden, and Levie Mills; sisters, Joy Moe, Lala "Peanut" Hill, and Christine Potts and husband, William; and several nieces and nephews.
