Donna Stafford

Funeral services for Donna Marie Stafford will be held Monday, February 24, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Last Chance Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the Highland Cemetery of Okemah.Donna Marie Stafford was born August 11, 1949 in Bend, Oregon to Lloyd Arlin Tumlin and Teeni Mae (Temple) Tumlin. She passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2025 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 75.Donna was a resident of Wetumka, Oklahoma and worked for over 28 years as a Licensed Practical Nurse. On March 17, 1966, in Carson City, Nevada, she and Everett Mansom Stafford were married. They were married for 58 wonderful years and showed their kids and family how true love never gives up. Donna was a very compassionate nurse having worked at the Okemah Hospital and with nursing homes in the area. She also enjoyed quilting, sewing, fishing, and gardening. She will be dearly missed.She is preceded in death by her parents.Survivors include her husband, Everett Stafford of Wetumka; three sons, Mark Stafford and wife Sandra of Oklahoma City, Curtis Stafford of Wetumka and Kirk Stafford of Wetumka; one daughter, Rebecca Daggs and husband Mark of Prague; step-daughter, Shelly Thompson and husband Eric of Colorado; three sisters, Geraldine Watters of Illinois, Linda Sue Meadows of Illinois and Bonnie Blalack of Oregon; 6 grandchildren, Jesse Stafford, Patrick Daggs, Kayla Stafford, Stephanie Boyd, Morgan Stafford and Autumn Stafford; 7 step-grandchildren, Scott and Brett Thompson, Jeremy and Anna Fairres, Lacey and Jimmy Wakely and Crystal and Kris Klimek; 7 great-grandchildren and 1 step great-grandchild.Serving as active pallbearers will be Jesse Stafford, Patrick Daggs, Mark Daggs, Colton Boyd, Mark Walker and Buck Stafford.Honorary bearers include Mark Stafford, Kirk Stafford, Curtis Stafford, Colton Lane Stafford and Easton Wayne Boyd.Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home and officiated by Bro.
