Dora Westren Obituary
Dora Jean Westren (Dorie), 82, of Akron, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, July 28th after a brief illness.
Dorie was born on July 31, 1941, to Joseph and Mary Martinovich in Akron, Ohio.
Dorie is survived by her husband and best friend of 65 years, Ron Westren, their three children, and their families:
Son Ronnie Westren (Aimee), granddaughter Desiree Bickett (Lenny), great-granddaughter Stella and great-grandson Johnathan; grandson Ryan Westren and great-grandson Nathan; grandson Chris Merring (Emily) and great-grandson Slater; granddaughter Christy Ursetti (Vinny), great-grandsons Austin and Jacob; grandson Matt Merring, and grandson Tyler Westren.
Daughter Dee (Westren) Combs (Bryan); granddaughter Lindsay Montford (Melvin) and great-grandchildren Shawn Combs, Oliver Montford, and Olivia Montford; granddaughter Shannon Johnson (Donald).
Son Tony Westren (Staci), grandson Anthony Westren (Kayla), and granddaughter Karli Westren.
Dorie retired from General Tire in 2001 after 30 years of service. She enjoyed cooking, dancing, all types of music, spending time with the family, and cheering for the Cleveland Indians (not the Guardians).
