Visitation will be held on Friday, October 13th, 2023, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Mabone Funeral Home, LLC. (Mary Lee Mabone Memorial Chapel). Funeral Services will take place on Saturday, October 14th, 2023, at 11:00 am at Nollies M.B. Church, 10450 Feathers Chapel Dr, Somerville, TN 38060. Interment will follow at McCulley Cemetery, Oakland, TN.
Doris attended Fayette County Training School in Somerville, TN, and later Central Connecticut State University.
She worked for the Federal Government and Swift Textile Metalizing.

Doris and Andre were my parents very good friends.
Doris was great comfort when my Dad passed in 2019. It was great seeing her at his service in Bloomfield.
Doris sold us her yellow 1971 Dodge Demon in 1978. I drove it until 1984. It became my "New York City" car, that was parked sometime illegally down in NYC.
