Dorothy Denil Obituary

She was born on June 18, 1934, to William and Helen (Tlachac) Deprey. She graduated from Casco High School on June 16, 1952. The next day, June 17, 1952, she was united in marriage to James Denil. Dorothy worked for the Appleton Area School District until she retired in 1990. Dorothy enjoyed cooking, baking, and spending time with her family.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl (Warren) Kahler, two granddaughters, Tanya (Chris) Lange and Kim (Chris) Hietpas. She loved spending time with her 5 great grandchildren, Trevor and Spencer Lange and Cody, Tori, and Dylon Zegers. Dorothy is also survived by a brother-in-law Hubert Denil and three sisters-in-law, Meome Denil, Mildred Denil, and Arlene Deprey along with many nieces and nephews.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, James, her parents, and her brother, Donald Deprey. She also is preceded in death by three brothers-in-law, Ray, Louie, and Walter Denil and two sisters-in-law, Beatrice Denil and Della Denil.
Family and friends may visit at St. Pius X Catholic Parish, 500 W Marquette St, Appleton on Friday, July 7, 2023 from 10:30am until 11:15am with the Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:30am at church. Entombment will take place at Highland Memorial Park.
