Douglas Lee Hulbert

Douglas Lee Hulbert of Lansing,
Passed away September 23, 2025, at the age of 75. Douglas was born on December 26, 1949, the son of Vern and Empress (Brush) Hulbert. He married the love of his life, Kay Minnard on December 29, 1992. Douglas worked for the City of Lansing in the Parks and Recreation Department, retiring with 13 years of service and ran the sound system for Life Church. He enjoyed hunting, was a collector of guns and for 23 years he volunteered his time at City Church in the food pantry.
Douglas is survived by his wife, Kay Hulbert; children, John (Jen) Hulbert, Betty Williams, Shelly Horner, Tracy (Wendy) Graham, Jason Graham, Kristina Graham; 16 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, James 'Jim" Hulbert.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Calvary Grace Assembly, 915 Water St, Eaton Rapids MI 48827. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service from 12-1pm. Arrangements were entrusted to the Mills Funeral Home, Shelly-Odell Chapel.
