Douglas L. Mealer, age 76 of Lenoir City passed away June 23, 2025 at his home. He was of the Baptist faith. Doug was retired from Y-12 in Oak Ridge. He was a good hard working man who loved his family.
Preceded in death by wife of 40 years, Judy Ann Mealer; siblings: Leonard Mealer, Charles Mealer, Margie Mealer, Helen McKee, Geneva Dutton, and infant brother, Stanley Mealer. Survived by his children and spouses, Greg Mealer and wife, Tanya, Stacy Mealer and wife, Selena; granddaughters: Akisa Leventhal, Amber Lowe, Chelsey Wilmoth, and Carlee Massey; grandson, Tristan Mealer; several great-grandchildren; siblings: Glen Mealer, Gary Mealer, Kenny Mealer, and Imogene Walker; nieces and nephews; caring family, Judy Russell Mealer, Leslie Goodman and Patience Goodman.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, June 27th at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Niles Dockery officiating. Family and friends will gather at 10 a.m. Saturday morning at the East Sweetwater Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery, 204 Glenlock Road, Sweetwater for graveside services.
