Doyle L. Clum of Anders Road, passed away on May 10, 2025 at Samaritan Hospital. He was 75 years old.
Born on October 18, 1949 in Troy, son of Elmer and Margaret (Smith) Clum. He is the husband of Betty Ann (Filkins) Clum who he married on December 18, 1971 in Johnsonville.
He was a life-long resident of Johnsonville and a graduate of Hoosic Valley School and served in the US Marines. He worked for General Electric in Waterford as a control operator and in the fire brigade.
Doyle loved his Harley Davidson and attending Americade. He enjoyed travelling, mostly by car, and even went cross-country. Above all he cherished time spent with family and his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Theresa Burley of Florida, Brian (Kelly) Clum of Rotterdam, Jennifer (Andrew) Januseski of Valley Falls, beloved grandchildren Caitlin, Miranda, Branden, Hannah, Austin, Sophia, Ava, Jackson and Madelyn. Also survived by his siblings, Douglas (Beverly) Clum and David Clum of Troy as well as a life-long friend, Bill Furlong of Chicago and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be from 10am – 12noon on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes, 173 Main St., Schaghticoke. A funeral service will be held at noon in the funeral home with burial to follow in the family plot in Millertown Cemetery.
