Duane M. Bricker

Duane M. Bricker, 78, of Chambersburg, PA passed away Friday, February 7, 2025 in Chambersburg Skilled Nursing. Born July 7, 1946 in Chambersburg, he was the son of the late Paul M. and Alice (Upperman) Bricker. 

He was a graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School with the Class of 1964. Throughout his life, Duane worked hard for his family business, Bricker Paving and Excavating. He took over the business in 1985 and continued his hard work until he became ill. Duane was very mechanically inclined and was able to keep the company machinery running smoothly. In his younger years he was a mechanic at Eastland Motors where he worked with Bud Faubel on his racecar. Duane also enjoyed gardening, feeding and watching the birds, and classic cars. . 

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Donna R. (Johnston) Bricker who he married July 31, 1964; two daughters, Laura Peters (Robert) and Amy Clemente both of Chambersburg; five grandchildren, Lance Peters, Logan Peters-Berrier (Logan), Evan High (Elizabeth), Eran Clemente and Emma Clemente; a sister, Patty Unger of Chambersburg and a number of nieces and nephews.

Services will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, February 17, 2025 in the Chapel of the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202 with Pastor Joe Pickens officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening in the funeral home from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM as well as one hour prior to the service Monday morning in the funeral home.
