Dustin Mercer Obituary

Dustin was born at NAS Jax in Jacksonville, Florida on February 8, 1977.
He spent most of his life working in aluminum construction, dedicating many years to Dan's Aluminum under the guidance of Jesse Denham, a boss he deeply respected and admired.
Dustin had a passion for music, especially for playing his favorite guitar - a Flying V. He loved jamming with his friends, Mike Fonseca and Justin Giaquinta, as well as with his dad and many others.
He is survived by his loving mother, Wanda Mercer; father, David Mercer (Colleen); aunts, Karen Combs, Grady Morgan, Susan Petri (Kevin), and Cissy Combs (Terry); uncles, Darrell Combs, Terry Combs, Jay Mercer, Robin Mercer, Wes Mercer, and Mike Mercer; along with many other cherished family members and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at Heritage Funeral Home, 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 30, 2025. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude’s.
