E. Caroline Maniez

E. Caroline (Bowser) Maniez, 78, of Canton, passed away Thursday, June 23rd, surrounded by loved ones in her home. Born in East Canton on May 17, 1944, a daughter of the late Robert and Thelma (Billman) Bowser, Sr., also preceded in death by loving husband Charles Rigault Maniez Sr., infant son William, sister Thelma Bowser and brother Robert Bowser Jr. Caroline was employed as a school bus driver for District 300, Palatine, Illinois for many years before retiring. Survived by 2 daughters Bernadette Maniez, of Elizabeth City, Indiana, Heather Maniez, of Poplar Grove, Illinois; 3 sons Donald Ritchie II, of Canton, Douglas Ritchie, of Richmond, Virginia, Charles (Allie) Maniez Jr., of Minneapolis, Minnesota; 2 sisters-in-law Lois Bowser, Alice Cowling; 2 brothers Clifford Bowser and Jim Bowser as well as 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces; nephews; cousins; family members; and friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
