Edgar "Ed" Patrick White, 56 of Batesburg, formerly of Ardmore, TN, passed away Monday, March 3, 2025. Born in Goshen, Indiana, he was a son of Harvey White and the late Julie Ann Hocker White. Ed was a loving son, father, husband, and brother who was incredibly loyal to his friends and family. While his health struggled due to a work related accident which put him on disability, he continued to push forward as he spent his later years living with and caring for his mother and father until his health declined.

Ed will be remembered as a survivor as he negotiated a life that was challenging and difficult at times. He will be deeply missed by his friends and family. We all celebrate his life and ascension to heaven as his faith in God was incredibly strong. While it hurts us all to lose Ed, we rejoice that he is exactly where he's wanted to be his entire life, with the Lord Jesus Christ. We Love You and will see you again soon my brother.

In addition to his father, Harvey, he is survived by his wife, Penny Burke White; his son, Brier White; and brothers, Michael Smith (Penny) and David Smith (Kelli); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

At Ed's request services will be private.

The family would like to thank his caregivers at Gentiva Hospice, Kathy, Wendy and Raven for their loving care.
