Edward E. Baucom, Ashtabula, Ohio

Peacefully passed into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 23, 2025.

Ed was born in Centralia, WA to Ira and Ruth (Fox) Baucom October 21, 1936.

His family relocated to Portland, OR where he lived until he retired from Oregon Brass Works as a machinist in 1992.

In 1992 he married Nancy (Weston) and began a 33 year love affair, enjoying and respecting each other everyday. After retiring they moved to Lincoln City, OR and became Hotel/Condo Managers becoming active in the community.

In 1999, Ed and Nancy founded Angels Anonymous, a Non-profit Foundation to provide immediate and basic services to those in need. After 26 years it continues serving Lincoln City and surrounding communities.

Ed was a kind soul and never missed an opportunity to give a compliment or to brighten someone's day. He was an avid reader, and loved feeding his birds.

He is survived by Nancy: his adult children, James, Mike and Sherry of Oregon, grandsons, Jordan and Malcolm and father, Ken of Arizona.

Services will be held at St Peter's Episcopal Church, Ashtabula OH

In Lieu of flowers contributions can be made to: Hospice of The Western Reserve or St. Peter's Episcopal Church.
