Edward Binert, 40, of Columbia, Missouri, passed away on November 19, 2024. He was born on February 7, 1984, in Evergreen Park, Illinois, to David and Theresa (Binert) Alvarado.
Edward was a proud graduate of D.D. Eisenhower High School in Blue Island, IL. He went on to serve his country as a member of the U.S. Marines, an experience that shaped much of his life.
Known for his passion in the kitchen, Edward spent many years working as a cook, where he shared his love of food with others. He was also a skilled machine operator, using his talents to work in various industrial settings.
In his personal life, Edward was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears, a lifelong wrestling enthusiast, and a lover of baseball. He was also a huge fan of books, particularly works by Stephen King and Dean Koontz. When he wasn't enjoying a good movie, he had a deep fascination with spirituality and conspiracy theories.
Edward is survived by his mother, Theresa Alvarado; his siblings, Melissa Alvarado, Jessica Alvarado, and Mark Mendez; his children, Alex (Babygirl) Binert and Eli Binert; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his father, David Alvarado, and his paternal grandparents, Katherine Swalec, Timothy Swalec, and Edward Binert.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to Edwards family.
Edward's warm heart, sense of humor, and love for his family and friends will be greatly missed. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
Arrangements are under the direction of Parker-Millard Funeral Service & Crematory, 12 East Ash Street, Columbia, MO 65203 (573) 449-4153. Condolences may be left online for the family at www.parkermillard.com.
