Edward Lee Stiffler, Jr., age 65, of Shepherdsville, passed away on Tuesday, September 3,2024. A devoted partner, father, and beloved grandfather, Edward's life was a testament to love and dedication. He proudly served his country in the US Navy for over 17 years, embodying the spirit of service and commitment.

An enthusiastic supporter of the UofL Cardinals, Edward also enjoyed participating in the Louisville Poker Tour. His deep Christian faith guided him throughout his life, and he cherished every moment spent creating lasting memories with his grandchildren. Edward's warmth and kindness touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Edward was born on February 22, 1959, in Munich, Germany, to Edward and Annie (Belz) Stiffler. He is preceded in death by his father, Edward Lee Stiffler, Sr., and his mother, Annie Stiffler.

He is survived by his loving family: son Benjamin (Kaiya) Stiffler; daughter, Ashlee Cornell; step-son Derrick (Sosha) Malone; longtime companion, Tami Moore; and grandchildren Alice Cornell, Amilia Bates, Ellee Stiffler, Kallee Stiffler, Charity Herren, Mattie Herren, and Oliver Malone, along with many extended family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, located at 10304 Dixie Highway. A Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at the same location, followed by burial at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, Kentucky.
