Edwin Otero

Edwin Otero of Somerset, passed away on Friday, September 20th, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital New Brunswick, NJ He was 68 years old.
Born and raised in Brooklyn New York, he would spend his early and young adult life in the city. Upon Graduating from Benjamin Franklin high school, Mr. Otero would promptly enter the Workforce. He started his occupation by working for Haven Printing in New York where he would ultimately spend most of his career.
After establishing himself as a crucial member of Haven Printing, Mr. Otero would move to Elizabeth New Jersey, then to Neptune, where he would raise his family. Mr. Otero would then spend his later years living in Somerset, New Jersey and working as a Coach driver. Mr. Otero found great joy in fishing; he would go on party boat trips whenever he could. He was also an avid sports fan and athlete. He played baseball and basketball throughout his entire life and would never turn down an opportunity to play. He also played in local paddleball tournaments whenever he could.
Mr. Otero is predeceased by his brother, Alfrdo Otero. He is survived by his wife Maligros Romero-Otero; Sons Michael Otero and Edwin Otero Jr; His brother Ralph Otero; Sisters, Ada Torres and Ruth Olivera. He also leaves behind several loving nieces and nephews.
