Efthalea Tsimpinos, age 90, of North Carolina, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2024. A loving mother, grandmother, and devoted member of her community, she leaves behind a legacy of faith, service, and love.
Efthalea was married for 56 years to her beloved husband, Gus M. Tsimpinos, who predeceased her on January 31, 2016. Together, they built a life centered on family, faith, and charity. She is survived by her daughter JoAnne (John) Radu of North Carolina, and son Victor Tsimpinos of Pennsylvania, a brother Michael (Ploumi) Karakatsanis and sister-in-law Argyro Karakatsanis all of Chios, Greece. She was preceded in death by her son Michael P. Tsimpinos, and brothers Konstandinos and Eleftherios Karakatsanis.
Efthalea's family extended to her three cherished grandchildren: Chris (Kate) Kiriakou of Illinois, Constantine (Kristen) Kiriakou of North Carolina, and Constantine Tsimpinos of Alaska.
A woman of deep faith, Efthalea was a devoted member of the Greek Orthodox Church where she was an active and respected leader. She served as President of the Philoptochos Society and the Senior Citizens group dedicating much of her life to supporting the church and charitable endeavors. Her commitment to her heritage and her work for others was a testament to her generous and caring spirit.

Family and friends may visit and pay tribute to Efthalea on Friday, November 15, 2024 from 10:30 to 11:30am at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, 2053 North Rd NE, Warren, OH 44483
A Funeral Service will follow at 11:30am at the church and burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Warren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Saint Nicholas Orthodox Church in Warren, Ohio and Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Charlotte, North Carolina.
