Eleanor Cobleigh of Reading, Ma, former resident of Lowell, Ma, and 30-year employee of Raytheon Co, died May 22 at Vantage Healthcare in Wakefield, Ma. She was 85.
Eleanor was the daughter of the late George and Margret (Tampas) Banakos and the mother of the late Michael J Cobleigh.
She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, and playing the slots at any casino.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Cobleigh) Kourkoulos and her husband Leo Kourkoulos. Her son Steven G. Cobleigh and his wife Elizabeth (Celeste) Cobleigh, and daughter-in-law Valerie Vacca.
She was Yaya to Brandon Vacca, Christos Kourkoulos, Samantha (Vacca) Tibbetts, her husband Shawn and their son Forrest, Nicholas Cobleigh, his daughters Addisyn and River, and his son the late Rowan Cobleigh.
She was also sister to the late Peter, Paul, Nick, Charles Banakos and Jenny Tsirovasles. Sister-in-law to Joanne, Ann, Faye, Polly Banakos, and Sam Tsirovosles. An aunt to many nieces and nephews.
At her request there will be no services. Donations can be made in lieu of flowers to The American Diabetes Assc @ www.diabetes.org.
Arrangments were in the care of the McDonald Funeral Home, Wakefield.
