Born to Ernest and Rose Hoyer, Eleanor grew up in the Chicago area and graduated from Northern Illinois University in Dekalb, where she met her husband Phil Huske and married in 1960. She had a daughter Yvonne in 1961 who was her pride and joy and shared her passion for helping others. She was preceded in death by her husband Phil in 2008 and her daughter Yvonne in 2016. Eleanor is survived by her grandchildren Caroline and David Gill of Charlotte, NC and her son-in-law Chris Gill of Minneapolis, MN.
