Eleanor Kinsella Obituary
Eleanor May Kinsella "Ellie" 79, of Moodus, peacefully passed away surrounded by family on April 24, 2024. She was born on November 23, 1944 in New Haven, CT; and was a daughter of the late Harry and Julia (Wrzesien) Seeds. Ellie was married to her husband, the late Edward Kinsella in 1968. They shared 53 years of blissful marriage together until he predeceased her in August of 2022. Ellie was an avid animal lover throughout her life. Through this shared passion she helped run Magic Pet shop in Wethersfield with Edward. She enjoyed watching The New York Yankees and listening to her favorite singers Neil Diamond and Elvis Presley. Her Favorite place to go on vacation was Disney World where she loved the "Hoop De Doo". Her greatest joy in life came from her family and embracing her role as a grandmother. She is survived by her daughter Jennifer (Mike) Lowy; granddaughter Kaylee Lowy; sister Ruth (Ted) Zito brother John Seeds; sisters-in-law Jane Seekins, Mary Marquis and Bonnie Kinsella, along wtih numerous other extended family, friends and pets. In addition to her husband and parents, she is predeceased by her son Edward; brothers Edwin Seeds, Harry Seeds, Jr. and sister-in-law Kathy Lombardo. Care of private arrangements has been entrusted to the Aurora-McCarthy Funeral Home of Colchester.
