Elizabeth A. Lyle, age 66, a resident of N. Chelmsford, passed away peacefully at Care Dimensions Hospice House on Wednesday, July 3, 2024.
She was born in Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina on October 15, 1957 and was the daughter of the late David F. and Marjorie (Daniels) Lyle.
Elizabeth was raised as a "Air Force Brat" traveling to Air Force Bases in England, North Carolina, Florida, and Maine. When her father retired from the Air Force she moved to Billerica, Mass where she attended Billerica Memorial High School. She was a lifelong resident of North Chelmsford and Lowell working as a switchboard operator at Raytheon, and later as a paralegal for Patrick Wood Esq, of Chelmsford. She had a brilliant mind, razor sharp wit, ready smile and a big heart. The world is a much duller place without her in it. May she rest in peace.
Elizabeth is survived by her devoted partner, Kevin Goscila Esq., brothers: Dr Henry Lyle of Andover Mass. Major Mark Lyle of Edmund OK, Charles Lyle of Jasper GA, her, sister Susan Norris of Glemsford England, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024 from 3pm to 5pm at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Ave., DRACUT. Funeral Services and Interment will be held privately.
Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made in Elizabeth's memory to Mass General Hospital Hagler Center for Lymphoma.

Sorry to see this Liz. I remember the first time I went to a party on an Island in Nuttings Lake you were there. I have some nice memories of you and was really sorry to see this.

My cousin Libby came to stay with our family when she moved back from Florida, before settling in Billerica. She taught us so many British jump rope games. We played Barbies constantly during our many many visits with her family. She introduced me to Peter Frampton's music !!! She was very close in age to me and was a "big" cousin I always looked up to. I can picture her crinkling her nose when she laughed. We had so many many memories in our childhood. May she rest in peace!

RIP Liz. I worked with Liz in the late 70´s in Burlington at a company called Infoton. I have fond memories of the day I gave her a ride to Boston to get her passport for an upcoming trip to England she had planned. We had no idea where to go and walked to city for a few hours. She was a sweet girl.
