A devout husband for 54 years, loving father, and caring brother, EJ is preceded in death by his parents, Newty and Evelyn Scallan; spouse, Linda Scallan; daughter, Terri Scallan Rome; siblings, Steve Scallan and Robert Scallan; and brothers-in-law, Anthony Cullota, AJ Mueller, and Greg Guillory.
Ellis is survived by his daughter, Sherri (Ken) Schaff; grandchildren, Amanda (Jose) Torres, Kailey Schaff, Cameron Schaff, and Briena Schaff; son-in-law, Allen Rome; siblings, Anna Cullota, Margaret Mueller, Ramona (Michael) Borries, Patricia Norton and Joyce Guillory; and sisters-in-law, Shelia Scallan and Ethel Scallan.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, June 9, 2025 at the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, 34888 Grantham College Dr., Slidell, LA 70460, beginning at 11 AM.
