Hi Martha,

Not sure if NY is too far for you but trying to plan a memorial service there in a month or so.

Trying to get up to Oneida again soon.My mom her cousin would normally help with this but she's in assisted living herself.

I think her lawyer has someone assigned by the state going through her stuff, but hopefully when everything is assessed maybe some of her more military service related things can be shared locally. She has some beautiful art from a pre -tourist era Vietnam for example maybe a Vietnam Vet association would be interested in some it.

Anyway will try to get your contact and will keep you posted about memorial service,

Best,

Marion

Our dearest cousin Ene visited Estonia, her birth land, every year. Ene brought with her a joyful and peaceful aura, always ready for a hike or a chat. She never complained about anything and her was a very well-educated, sharp, and witty mind. Ene loved a good conversation and we, her relatives in Tartu and Tallinn, will be missing her dearly.

She had a unique way of making everyone feel welcome and appreciated. Ene's memory will continue to inspire us.

P.s. Marion, if you happen to read this, do send me an email. It would be lovely to be in touch. If I recall correctly, we are also related. My email is illimar.ploom(at)gmail.com

So sorry for your Family's loss. I only knew Ene from shopping at the drug store I worked at. She was a very pleasant lady with a smile each time I waited on her. From what I just read about her she was a special service personal to the United States. Be very proud of her.
Sincerely,
Penny Stewart.
