Passed away peacefully on Friday, August 22, 2025 at the age of 68 surrounded by his family, while holding his wife's hand. He was born September 5, 1956 in Oneida, NY, son of Stanley and Evelyn Roberts Pratt. He is predeceased by his mother, Evelyn and father-in-law, Clifford Shadduck.

He is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Renee Jean Shadduck Pratt; children, Allie Shadduck, Ericka (Brian) Falcone and Madison Pratt; grandchildren, Bentley Shadduck, Scarlett Falcone, and Jameson Falcone; siblings, Hugh (Carol) Pratt, Kim (Leslie) Pratt, Mark (Kim) Pratt, Gary (Sue) Pratt, Connie (Fred) Deagan, and Tracey Pratt; mother-in-law, Ann Shadduck; sister-in-law, Danielle Rizzo; and several nieces, nephews, cousins extended family members and a host of friends.

Eric served his country honorably in the United States Navy during the Iraq War and was very proud of his service. He retired from the Horseheads Central School Dist., and the US Navy. Eric enjoyed music, watching the Giants and most importantly spending time with his family.

The family will welcome relatives and friends to Community Wesleyan Church, 2095 Grand Central Ave., Horseheads, NY 14845 on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 from 1PM- 2 PM with Eric's Memorial Service will follow at 2PM with Pastor Art Evens presiding. Full Military Honor will follow.
