Age 89, passed away on August 18, 2025. Born October 8, 1935, in Elmira, NY, to the late Harold and Dolores Landon Blodgett.
Letha is pre-deceased by her husband of 65 years David L. Padgett. She is survived by her three children, David W. (Donna) Padgett, Sara (Brian) Preston and Steve Padgett. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Dave (Erica) Padgett, Mike Padgett (Ellie), Mathew Craven (Jessica Blair), Emily Chapin, Megan (John) Kosty, Joshua Padgett, Jessica Padgett, and Jillian Padgett; great grandchildren; Ellie, Ronan, Clayton, Abraham, Mason and Mia; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Letha cherished her friends especially close friends, Teri and Bob Hauptman and Anita (Mike) Hesser.
Letha retired in 1999 as a secretary from Cornell University.
The family will welcome relatives and friends to Sullivan's Funeral Home, 365 E. Franklin St., at Rt 13, Horseheads, NY on Saturday, August 30, 2025 from 11 AM-12:30 PM with her Memorial Service to follow.
Flowers and food are gratefully declined, those wishing to remember Letha, please consider contributions to Meals on Wheels, 409 William St., Elmira, NY 14901 in her memory.

I remember Letha from the Mark Twain Cadets days of the 70's and working with her at Elmira Savings Bank. My condolences to the family.
