Eric Reinhardt Obituary
A lifelong resident of Wheeling, Eric spent his career devoted to the Labor Union, where he was known for his commitment and integrity. Outside of his professional endeavors, Eric's passions included fishing and softball, as well as being an avid supporter of the Pittsburgh Steelers, University of Michigan, and West Virginia University sports teams. His love for the community extended to his involvement with the PAP Club of South Wheeling and the IOLA Club of Wheeling, where he formed many enduring friendships.
Eric was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Frederick Reinhardt, and his stepfather, Thomas "Butcher" Taylor. He is survived by his beloved mother, Darla Jean (Gill) Taylor; his cherished daughter, Sydney Reinhardt; his siblings, Brenda (Mike) Colvin, Jeanene (Mark) Estep, Jerome (Lisa) Reinhardt, and Wade (Kelly) Reinhardt; his adored granddaughter, Charlee Stachura; and several nieces, nephews, and very good friends.
Though no public services are scheduled at this time, the family will hold a private service at their convenience to honor Eric's life and memory.
Eric will be remembered for his gentle spirit, his steadfast loyalty to his family and friends, and his joyful embrace of life's everyday moments. His presence will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew him.
