I wish to express my very sincere condolences to Diane and family, on their tremendous loss. It was an absolute pleasure knowing Diane and Eric even for the short time it was. Eric was a very kind gentle soul and will be missed.

Our family was very saddened to learn that Eric had passed away. Having participated for many years with him in youth sports in Highland Park, we came to know Eric as a committed father, coach and someone who contributed much to his community. Our sons enjoyed growing up alongside his sons and making friends with them. Eric's legacy of promoting social justice by advocating for groups often marginalized by society, such as those suffering from HIV Aids, will live on. Our sincere condolences to Diane and the entire Weinberg family.

I met Eric when making a documentary film BAD BLOOD, about the cases he helped to litigate on behalf of people living with hemophilia who contracted HIV and Hep C. Eric fought their fight for many years and I admired his tenacity and fight for justice. I am a great admirer of his and wish you my deepest condolences on his passing.

So sorry to hear this even though it was known it was coming. A fighter to the end...whether it was for his clients or himself...Eric was just built to not give up! His memory will live in every single person who met him...and especially in his clients who I am sure will be forever grateful he worked so hard for them. My condolences to Diane, their children and everyone who will miss him in their lives. May his memory be eternal.

My condolences to the Weinberg Family. I knew Eric because he was a friend and client of James Stahl who I happen to work with. He always talked about his children and how proud of them he was. He was such a gentlemen and very down to earth. So sorry.
