Erin Seiler Obituary
Erin was a graduate of Grand Ledge High School, class of 1999, where she formed many lifelong friendships and laid the foundation for her future endeavors. Her passion for helping others led her to volunteer extensively at Heartwood School Special Education in Mason, MI. It was through this work that Erin touched the lives of many, providing care and support for those in need with her characteristic warmth and generosity.
Family was the cornerstone of Erin's life. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Jack Seiler, and a loving mother to her son, Jacob Seiler. Erin's love for her family was boundless, and she always put their needs ahead of her own. Her home was filled with the aroma of her cooking and baking, which she used to express her love and create joyful memories for her family and friends.
Erin's infectious laughter and bright spirit lifted the hearts of those around her. She had an uncanny ability to make people laugh and feel at ease, even in their darkest moments.
She carried her selfless nature through to the very end. In a final act of generosity, Erin blessed someone with the gift of life through the donation of her kidney, a testament to her enduring wish to help others.
Erin is survived by her cherished family: her husband, Jack; son, Jacob; her parents, Mark and Carol; brother, Jason Schmitt, and her nieces, Stella and Kate. She was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, Leon and Neva Schmitt and Ralph and Dorothy Atherton, who instilled in her the values of kindness and service that she embodied throughout her life.
No services will be held at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in loving memory of Erin Seiler to the family for the care of her son Jacob, c/o Howard L. Seiler.
