Erlene Webber Marr, age 78, of Peterson, Alabama, passed away peacefully in her home on August 25, 2025.

Erlene lived a long life of joy, laughter, and love. She was born on November 14, 1946, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She grew up with her 8 brothers and sisters surrounded by love, laughter and the occasional bit of mischief. She married her first husband, Larry Travis, and was blessed with her only daughter, Tammy Travis Shirley in 1966. Erlene worked tirelessly to make sure that Tammy was always provided for and loved. Later in life, Erlene, met and married her second husband, Butch Marr. Erlene and Butch married in 1992. Together, Butch and Erlene found the lord and began their lives anew. Erlene's later years were spent with Butch helping with their church, Ruhama Baptist where she was a lifelong member, and spending time with her family whenever possible. Erlene was an avid believer in the lord, and her family is at peace knowing that she is dancing and rejoicing in her final home.
