Ernie Ray Richards age 73 sadly has parted ways with this world and is no longer fighting earthly battles. May he finally be at peace with the Lord above.
He was introduced to this world on March 3rd 1951 to his parents, Donald and Lela, Richards and the state of Alabama. His family eventually relocated in Belen, New Mexico, That is when he had joined the Vietnam war in March of 1970-1974, where he bravely served 2 terms in the war under the branch of the navy. After
Serving his 2 terms, he later on went to work in the trucking industry until the day he got his disability. He was a wonderful father in life and will be followed in death by his daughter, Tanya Ortiz, his mother and father, his sister, brother, and niece. His name will live on through his daughter. Autumn Kunkle and Sarah Stowe, his grandson, Tony Bob Ortiz and granddaughters Raven, Azeala "Pheobe" Stowe, Alicia Daugherty, his sister Sheryl Mobbley, brother Charlie Richards and niece Lela Hulgren. May you finally be at peace, you will forever be missed.

Mr Richards, u will be greatly missed by many! U were like a dad to me when I was growing up. Autumn & I were best friends. There were times u couldn't stand us girls, (hahaha), but u loved us jus the same. Thank you for being the dad I needed back then. Thank you for allowing me to be like a sister to Autumn! Love u in life & in death. May u rest in peace sir.
