Graczyk, Eugene "Gene" Joseph - Age 89, lifetime resident of Flint, passed away peacefully at his home on March 28, 2024. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc. Military honors will be held at the funeral home following the service. Interment to follow at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2:00 -8:00 PM Friday, April 5, 2024 at the funeral home and from 10:00 AM Saturday, April 6, 2024 until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org). 

Gene was born November 12, 1934 in Flint, Michigan to the late Stanley F. and Margaret G. (Keit) Graczyk.  He was a Flint Northern High School graduate and he proudly served our country as a Staff Sergeant with The United States Air Force. Gene married Lucille V. Wallace on April 4, 1959 in Flint, Michigan and she preceded him in death on June 8, 2022. He worked at Fisher Body for more then 30 years before retiring and was a member of UAW Local 581. Gene loved countryside drives with his wife, Lucille and he enjoyed golfing and bowling . He was a talented musician as he played the clarinet in the Flint Concert Band and with the Lennovanka Brass Band.  

He is survived by his children, Debra Owens of Royal Palm Beach, FL, Patricia Olds of Flint, Barbara (Mike) Stieve of Oscoda, Thomas (Lyne) Graczyk of Davison; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Elaine Murphy; brother, Dennis Graczyk; sister-in-law, Betty Graczyk; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, John; parents; grandson, Timothy; brother, David Graczyk; brother-in-law, Patrick Murphy; son-in-law, Kurt Olds.
