Evan Blake Enderle, a man known for his kind heart, adventurous spirit, and gentle demeanor, passed away unexpectedly on June 9, 2024, at the age of 35. Born on December 12, 1988, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Doug & Julie Enderle, Evan's life was a testament to the joy of embracing the great outdoors and the warmth of human connection.
A skilled welder by trade, Evan was respected by his colleagues for his work ethic and the precision he brought to every project. What started as a pleasure trip to Hawaii, landed him a welding job at Pearl Harbor. His hands, strong and steady, were not only capable of shaping metal but also of creating music as a passionate drummer. Evan's rhythm extended beyond the drum set, pulsing through every aspect of his life, from his work to his play.
Evan's zest for life was evident in his many interests. He loved his Harley, feeling most alive when riding along the open road. His love for being outdoors was infectious, and he often inspired others to step outside their comfort zones and join him in his adventures. His escapades included riding dirt bikes with his brother as a kid, traveling the world in several bands, skateboarding, recording music with his friends, and taking his parents skydiving. He also enjoyed camping, playing his guitar, surfing, hiking, sailing, scuba diving, and exploring Oahu with his brother Ryan.
Evan is survived by his loving parents, Doug & Julie Enderle; his younger brother Ryan; maternal grandparents Carlton & Emma Curtis, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family. He is proceeded in death by his paternal grandparents, William & Jeannette Enderle and Aunt Debbie Schibi.
As we say goodbye to Evan, we celebrate a life lived with passion and purpose. We take comfort in knowing that his journey was rich with experiences, but none that compare to sitting at the feet of Jesus.
In honor of Evan's memory, let us take a moment to step outside, breathe in the fresh air, and appreciate the simple joys of life. Let us live as Evan did, with courage, kindness, and a sense of wonder that turns every day into an adventure worth taking.
"NO RESERVES – NO RETREATS – NO REGRETS" -William Whiting Borden
To celebrate Evan's life, his family has planned a celebration day on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, beginning with a celebration gathering and visitation at 11 am, Celebration of Life Service at 12:12 pm, reception at 2:30 pm, and reflections of Evan at 4 pm, all at Rock City Church, 10309 S. Padre Island Drive, Corpus Christi, Texas.

Doug, Julie and Ryan:

We are very sad for your loss. We trust that Evan is safe is God's loving embrace.

As you may remember, our mom, Aunt Wilma, would always say to those who were grieving a loss -- "I am walking with your pain". Crickett and I are also "walking with your pain.

Blessings,

Ron & Crickett Enderle

I remember going to youth group at church one evening and it was the first time I saw the Enderle family. I was in 8th grade and I immediately saw Evan and, like every other girl in our church, had the biggest crush. He was so handsome and I was certain he was going to be mean and cocky. How wrong was I. Even though I was a chunky little ugly duckling, Evan and all of his friends were the sweetest group of guys, and our entire youth group had so much fun together. He loved the Lord and he treated everyone around him with kindness, just like the Lord would want. We grew up together in church and I grew to love the entire Enderle clan. You just meet people and know they´re your people. His mom and dad raised him so well and he will be sorely missed. I know the fierce dedication and love Julie, Doug, and Ryan had for Evan, and it´s truly heart shattering that they will forever have an emptiness from his loss. Every time my husband and I go for a ride on the Harley I´m sure it´ll make me think of Evan. So many people love the Enderles and we will all have no trouble keeping his memory alive. Love yall so much. Rest easy in the Lords arms, Evan.

Love, Cayla Watkins (Horton)
