Flossie M. Gall

Flossie M. Gall, age 88 of Hillsboro, passed away Friday evening June 13, 2025 at the Highland District Hospital. She was born March 29, 1937 in Crown City, Ohio, the daughter of the late Bert and Emma (White) Short. She retired in 1991 after many years in Educational Service in Highland County. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her children, Thomas H. (Shawn) Gall of Marshall and Teresa Trimm of Hillsboro; three grandchildren, Seth T. Gall, Mitchell W. Gall and Dillon J. Gall; a sister, Florence Workman of Peebles; as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and many friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of forty-six years, Harold J. Gall, who passed away on May 21, 2005. They were married on April 9, 1959. She is also preceded in death by her son, Bobby Gall; and five siblings, Ray Short, Raymond Short, Leo Short, Mark Short and Betty Short. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro, when a funeral service will begin. Jim Witt will officiate. Burial will follow in the Dunkard Ridge Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Highland County Humane Society, P.O.
