Fran Fox

Penfield – Frances M. (Bender) Fox, age 63, passed away peacefully, on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, with family by her side. She is survived by her mother, Nadine "Deanne" Bender; two siblings, Michael Bender and Karen Bender (Gary Livent); niece, Elizabeth Sweeney; nephew, Christopher Bender; uncle, Anthony Ceravolo; several cousins; and many dear friends, including Nichole (Christopher) Guillod, who was like a daughter to Fran. She was predeceased by her husband, Jeff Fox in 2008; and father, Al Bender in 2018.
Fran was born in Canandaigua. She was a graduate of St. Mary's School, class of 1974 and Canandaigua Academy, class of 1978. Fran earned a bachelor's degree from R.I.T. She worked at High Falls Brewing in Rochester for 25 years. Fran loved to travel, especially to beaches or mountains. She enjoyed a good chardonnay and time spent with family and friends making memories.
Friends may call Wednesday, from 4-7 pm, at Johnson-Kennedy Funeral Home, Inc., 47 N. Main St., Canandaigua. Her memorial service will be held Thursday, at 11 am, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Canandaigua. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to UR Medicine Hospice, 2180 Empire Blvd., Webster, NY 14580 or the Humane Society of Greater Rochester at Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd., Fairport, NY 14450.
