Frances (Sestito) Anderson passed away peacefully on April 23, 2025. A devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and loyal friend, Frances was born and raised in Worcester, Massachusetts. She later made her home in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, where she built lasting friendships and deep community ties.
In retirement, Frances and her beloved husband, Arthur Anderson, shared a life of warmth and adventure-spending summers in New Hampshire and winters in Lakeland, Florida. They were married for over 60 years until Arthur's passing.
Frances was predeceased by her daughters, Doreen Richards and Barbara Thurston; her brother, Paul Sestito; and her sisters, Patricia Riordan and Sally Sestito.
She leaves behind her daughter, Angela Anderson-Connolly of Nashua, NH; her adored grandchildren: Kristin Thurston (Tampa, FL), Keri Richards (Las Vegas, NV), Nicholas Thurston (Wolfeboro, NH), Amanda Richards (Florence, OR), Michael Thurston (Tampa, FL), Brenna Connolly (Manchester, NH), and Martha Connolly (Los Angeles, CA). She also leaves many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved deeply.
Frances had a passion for music, coloring, and friendly games of cards and dominoes. But her greatest joy was her grandchildren. She took immense pride in being the kind of grandmother everyone wanted to visit-and she truly was.
A calling hour will be held from 9:30 - 10:30 AM on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at the BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central Street, Auburn. A graveside service will follow at 11 AM at Hope Cemetery, Worcester.
