Our beautiful and beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away May 3rd, 2025, at the age of 92 years old. She was the daughter of the late Eli Petricevic and Otillia (Kocis) and daughter-in-law to the late Edward and Luella Duperon. Frances was united in marriage to her late husband, Edward (Jack) Duperon, on May 6, 1950. Their marriage lasted for 74 years until his passing. She was born on September 28, 1932. Frances was always a kind and compassionate person. She loved all her family immensely and was known for her unwavering dedication to them. Frances had a passion for decorating and family gatherings, where she would create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. She was an exceptionally skilled seamstress, creating beautiful clothes for school, weddings, and flower girls. Her meticulous attention to detail and remarkable workmanship were evident in every piece she created. Her gentle nature and caring spirit touched the lives of everyone who knew her, and she will be deeply missed by her family.
Surviving are two daughters and one son: Victoria (Terry) Eddy, Grand Haven; Colleen (Pat) Osantowski, Reese; Steve Duperon, Saginaw. She is also survived by eight grandchildren: Zach (Krissy) Osantowski, Stacie (Kenny) Benson, Adam (Katy) Osantowski, Shannon (Rob) Sharpe, Shane (Kelly) Eddy, Josh Duperon, Stephanie (Ali) Abul, Jocelyn (Pat) Hasse; and twelve great-grandchildren: Kate, Maddi, Cam, Brady, Brooke, Fiona, Maddox, Ava, Claire, James, Alden, and Zaiden; 4 sisters, Jean Sargent, Marge Bush, and Kathy (Randy) Sather. Frances was preceded in death by a sister, Julie Smith, and brother, Bob Petricevic.
In keeping with Frances' wishes, cremation has taken place and there are no services planned. Those planning a memorial contribution are asked to consider the American Juvenile Diabetes Association (JDF).
