A homemaker, she cherished time spent with her family. Frances enjoyed playing cards, crocheting and working outdoors. She was also the bookkeeper for family business -John Sherman Moving Company.
Survivors include one son, Frank Sherman; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren; sister Carolyn (Roger) Inabnitt and many cherished nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Sherman, her daughter Margaret "Peggy" Sherman and her brother, Marvin Raisor.
Visitation will be Monday, September 29th from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM G.H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home & Cremation Center, followed by the funeral service at 1:00 PM. She will then be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Johnson County Senior Services. Please share memories, photographs and online condolences with the family at www.ghherrmann.com
