Frances L. Viser

Frances L. Viser, age 99, passed away Friday, April 21, 2023 at Sterling Hills Rehab. and Healthcare Center. Graveside services will be at 11:00 A.M., Monday, April 24, 2023 at Sweetwater Cemetery with Chaplain James Martin officiating. Burial will follow. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home.
Frances was born October 26, 1923 in Sweetwater, Texas to James Hendrix and Navell (Davison) Hendrix. She married Kenneth Viser September 23, 1947, Kenneth preceded her in death on October 31, 1982. She relocated to Abilene
where she was a member of the Woodlawn Church of Christ. Frances was very talented in whatever she chose to do. She worked for Joyce's Fabrics and Hancock Fabrics. She was a talented artist, and loved sewing and quilting.
Mrs. Viser is survived by two nieces, Vicki Builta and husband Jim of Midland, Tx., and Dana Williams and husband Clifford of Sweetwater, and sister in law, Rhea Hendrix of Sweetwater. Also surviving are two nephews, Rob Hendrix and Mike Hendrix and his wife Lisa all of Midland, Texas.
Frances was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Viser, her parents, and brother James Hendrix.
The family wishes to extend their special thanks to Kinder Hearts Hospice of Abilene and Visiting Angels also of Abilene.
