Francis Aloysius Halpin

Francis Aloysius Halpin, 89 of Manalapan, New Jersey passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2025, peacefully surrounded by his family.

Born Tuesday, June 23, 1936 in Bronx, New York., Francis was the son of the late Thomas and Regina Halpin.

Frank, as he was known to family and friends, was raised in Larchmont, New York. After graduating from high school Frank attended Iona College where he received a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Accounting.

At a New Year's eve party Frank would meet the love of his life, Elaine Berinato. The couple would begin a courtship that soon would turn into marriage. They married in 1964, living first in Brooklyn. There they started their family before settling in the Annadale section of Staten Island. Frank and Elaine moved to Manalapan in 1999 to be closer to family.

Frank worked in the financial industry for many years. He retired in 1998 as a VP in Bank of America. When Frank wasn't working he enjoyed reading the newspaper and rooting for his favorite sports teams, the NY Giants and NY Mets. Frank and Elaine loved taking trips together, traveling all around the world. More than anything Frank loved being with his family and he will be missed by all those that love him.

Frank was predeceased by his beloved wife, Elaine, and by his siblings, Thomas, Robert, James, Eileen Cassidy, and Mary Quinn.

Frank is survived by his loving daughters, Theresa Galati and her husband Richard, and Maria-Elena Pepia and her husband Mark, by his cherished grandchildren, Amber Galati, Gianna Filosa, and Michael Filosa, and by his caring sister Regina Senatore.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Monday, November 24, 2025, at Michael Hegarty & John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals and Cremation Service, 3377 US Highway 9, Old Bridge, New Jersey.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday at St. Thomas More Church located at 186 Gordons Corner Road Manalapan, New Jersey 07726. Entombment will be in St. Gabriel Cemetery, Marlboro, NJ.

The family requests that donations in Frank's memory are made to the American Diabetes Association in lieu of flowers.
