Francsks "Franco" Yodmar Matamoros, a charismatic beacon of laughter and generosity in his community, passed away on December 27th, 2024, just shy of his 32nd birthday. Born on the last day of 1992 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Franco was a vibrant New Year's Eve baby who grew up to illuminate the lives of those around him. A country boy at heart with a quiet but undeniable strength, his infectious humor, unwavering support, and boundless kindness had a profound impact on everyone he met, especially his family, who were the center of his world.
Franco found his calling as a proud Licensed Electrician with the local union where his dedication to the craft was evident in his meticulous work. A resident of Revere, Massachusetts, he was a familiar and cherished figure in the community. When not working, Franco could be found enjoying his passions such as playing music to his hearts content, working on his dream trucks, and most importantly, spending time with his beloved son Roman. His playful spirit shined the brightest during their moments together, creating memories that will be forever treasured.A man of few words but immense power, Franco had the ability to charm and inspire us to become more. He would always say “Open your hearts” so that we would be selfless in our actions and find peace and happiness in what we have and with those in our lives. He will forever live in our souls and memories through the time he spent connecting with everyone.
Franco is survived by his son Roman, his mother Rubia Matamoros, and his loving siblings. His legacy lives on not only through his family but in the countless hearts he touched with his unique blend of humor and warmth. As we remember Franco, we celebrate the life of a man who was, in every sense, the spark of our lives.
